Letter from Jas. McKisick, Cherokee Agent, to Chief John Ross. Acknowledges his receipt of protest against a U. S. Marshall from Arkansas entering the Cherokee Nation and arresting a Cherokee who had killed another Cherokee, both residents of Flint District.
