Response from Clint T. Peoples Executive US Marshal dated November 2, 1988. Single line statement that he never knew Tex Cooper Clinton Thomas Peoples was in Texas law enforcement from 1930 as a deputy Sheriff to the early development of the Texas Rangers and on to assignment as Senior Texas Ranger Captain. Clint People was appointed as Executive Director of the United States Marshalls office by President Ronald Reagan in 1974. He was also inducted into the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame.
