Certification by acting Judge John S. Vann stating that he solemnized the rites of matrimony between L. A. Bivin and Catherine Timberlake on May 12, 1872. Folder 372

Hugh McPherson was the Court Clerk in the Canadian District of Cherokee Nation. William Ryan was a U. S. citizen who wanted to marry Nancy Fields, a Cherokee woman. Notation states that Judge I. M. Hildebrand married the couple on the following day. Folder 364
