Translation: MANCO CAPAC, THE FIRST INCA. The great Empire began with this Monarch, he who, according to the fabrication of his mother, Mama Huaco, was called Son of the Sun and of the Cave Pacarictambo. As such he was acclaimed as King of the entire Cuzco region. He married his own Mother for the security of the Royal Blood. According to his annals, he lived 160 yeras. His Son succeeded him.
