Collection summary derived from "Guidebook to Manuscripts", 1969: A guest of P.H. Sheridan, William E. Strong kept an interesting account of a hunting trip to Indian Territory in 1878. General A.W. Whipple, a Colonel Moore, and Ben Clark, guide, were also in the hunting party. Strong gives a good description of Clark and there is a photograph of him. There are several excellent pen and ink sketches of wild turkeys.
