Memoranda number one "A" of Charles Joseph Latrobe's nine page diary describing his trip into Indian Territory, March 7 - May 22, 1832
Charles Joseph Latrobe’s 9-page diary opens with his departure on March 7, 1832 and records his journey’s events up to May 22, 1832. Latrobe mentions interacting with individuals from France and Germany during his travels, and in one of his final entries he mentions leaving Long Island, New York, to continue his journey west. Latrobe's handwriting is very difficult to read, and the ink is faded on certain pages. Overall, Memoranda One A is in fragile condition.
