Also, reports loss of merchandise in rise of Verdigris River. A.P. Chouteau (1786 - 1838) was a prominent Fur trader, and liaison, especially with the Osage, in the Three Forks area of Oklahoma. There is also a vocabulary of the Biloxi Language in the same book which is entirely handwritten and anonymous.
